RIYADH: The Ministry of Media concluded the Bangladeshi Culture Days, held under the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, organized in cooperation with the General Entertainment Authority.

The four-day event, from Nov. 11-14 at Suwaidi Park, drew more than half a million visitors with cultural and artistic performances reflecting the depth of Saudi-Bangladeshi relations.

The initiative is part of the Quality of Life Program under Vision 2030 and continues to attract large audiences through its daily cultural activities, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The final day featured Bangladeshi artists presenting musical and dance performances that highlighted both traditional and contemporary arts.

Visitors also enjoyed traditional food tastings, handicrafts, jewelry displays, clay molding, traditional clothing and bangle-making demonstrations.

Students from Bangladesh International School in Riyadh also impressed audiences with their performances, followed by artistic presentations showcasing the diversity of Bangladesh’s folk heritage.

The program included 10 artists, nine bazaars and 12 folk groups offering live shows that introduced visitors to Bangladeshi music, folk arts, costumes and cuisine.

Activities also featured circus shows, DJ sets and dance performances.

The “Global Harmony 2” initiative runs for 49 days and showcases 14 world cultures, the SPA reported.

The initiative continues on Saturday with the launch of Egyptian Culture Days, running for three days and featuring Egyptian artists and influencers presenting a variety of artistic and heritage performances.
