RIYADH: Najran Gov. Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed received Bandar Al-Fuhaid, president of the Arab Tourism Organization, on Monday.

Prince Jalawi praised the unwavering support shown to the tourism sector by King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, saying it had contributed greatly to its success in line with Vision 2030.

He highlighted Najran’s tourism potential, which could be used to attract visitors through a comprehensive plan involving government, private, nonprofit entities and the local community.

The governor stressed the need for authorities to strengthen collaboration with the Arab Tourism Organization to advance regional tourism programs. He also received a presentation on the organization’s efforts to promote tourism initiatives and achieve their goals.

Al-Fuhaid expressed gratitude to the governor for his commitment to enhancing tourism in the region, praising Najran’s wealth of distinguished tourist sites.
