ISLAMABAD: The Sri Lankan cricket team, captain Charith Asalanka, has arrived in Islamabad to play three one-day internationals (ODIs) and a triangular series, the Pakistan Cricket Board said on Sunday.
The one-day series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from Nov. 11 to Nov. 15, according to the PCB.
A Twenty20 triangular series will begin after the three one-day matches.
"Pakistan, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka will compete in the T20 triangular series," the PCB said. "The T20 triangular series will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from November 17 to 29."
Pakistan on Saturday won a three-match ODI series against South Africa. Saim Ayub hit a half century and spinner Abrar Ahmed took four wickets as Pakistan beat South Africa by seven wickets in the third one-day international on Saturday, taking the series 2-1.
Pakistan won the first match by two wickets and South Africa took the second by eight wickets, also in Faisalabad.
Victorious skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi said: “It’s a complete team effort and a reward for hard work.â€
Shaheen, captaining Pakistan for the first time in ODIs, added: “This win will give us confidence for the coming matches.â€
