Where is the 黑料社区n Grand Prix taking place?
The Jeddah Corniche Circuit is one of the newest venues on the F1 calendar after making its debut in 2021. Hosting F1 is part of 黑料社区鈥檚 push to become a major player in global sports. Jeddah is fast for a street circuit and walls close to the track mean the slightest error brings heavy punishment. It鈥檚 the second night race in a row after last week鈥檚 Bahrain Grand Prix. Max Verstappen is the only driver to win in Jeddah twice. Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez have one win each.
What happened in the last race?
Oscar Piastri became the first driver to win two races this season with a dominant drive from pole position to victory. It was a dramatic race behind him as George Russell contended with electrical problems and held off Piastri鈥檚 teammate Lando Norris to take second. Verstappen had problems with his Red Bull and placed sixth. Norris leads the 2025 driver standings by three points from Piastri.

69 鈥 Verstappen has scored all but two of Red Bull鈥檚 71 points this season. Yuki Tsunoda鈥檚 ninth place in Bahrain was the first time any of his teammates finished in the top 10 since November.
7 鈥 Rookie Oliver Bearman made a splash on debut in 黑料社区 last year with seventh place as an emergency stand-in for Ferrari. Now at Haas, that鈥檚 still Bearman鈥檚 best finish in F1.
What are they saying?
鈥淚鈥檓 just nowhere near the capability that I have, which hurts to say.鈥 鈥 Lando Norris.
鈥淲e still have a lot of work to do on the car to get us where we need to be.鈥 鈥 Max Verstappen.
鈥淚鈥檇 love to say so, but I don鈥檛 think we are, to be honest. McLaren are just too dominant right now.鈥 鈥 George Russell says Mercedes isn鈥檛 a title contender.

A few days before his defeat to Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in the title match at the French Open, Sinner had easily dispatched Bublik in the quarter-finals at Roland Garros, dropping only six games.
On Thursday, ten days before Wimbledon, Bublik claimed his second victory in six ties against Sinner.
The Kazakh will play Tomas Machac in the quarter-finals after the Czech beat Hungarian Fabian Marozsan 6-2, 6-3 earlier in the day.

The second-ranked Gauff, who won at Roland-Garros less than two weeks ago for her second Grand Slam title, amassed 25 unforced errors and seven double faults in her loss to Wang.

The 21-year-old Gauff added that she is 鈥渆xcited to get some more practices in to be ready for Wimbledon,鈥 which starts June 30. She has not made it past the fourth round at the All England Club.

Wang, ranked No. 49, said she would have been pleased just with the first set Thursday, considering the level of her opponent.

鈥淎fter I won the first set, I just told myself 鈥極K let鈥檚 take a minute and enjoy this, I鈥檓 playing the French Open champion, and I won the first set,鈥欌 she said in her on-court interview.

鈥淣o matter how the second and third go, I was like, 鈥極K let鈥檚 just enjoy it for a second,鈥欌 said Wang, who will face Paula Badosa in the quarterfinals. 鈥淚鈥檓 really happy with how I played today. I was serving good and putting a lot of pressure on the return, especially second-serve return.鈥

  • Victory took Palmeiras provisionally top on four points

EAST RUTHERFORD, USA: Palmeiras drew first blood in Club World Cup Group A with a 2-0 victory over Al Ahly on Thursday in New Jersey.

Lionel Messi鈥檚 Inter Miami face Porto later on in the group鈥檚 other clash after two goalless draws in the first round of fixtures.

The match was suspended in the 63rd minute because of a weather warning, with players and fans at the MetLife Stadium instructed to 鈥渢ake shelter鈥 because of a nearby storm.

Palmeiras were leading by two goals at the time, with a Wessam Abou Ali own goal sending the Brazilians ahead in the 49th minute before Flaco Lopez doubled their lead on the Egyptians 10 minutes later.

Victory took Palmeiras provisionally top on four points, with the other three sides level on one point each.

It was the third match at the tournament affected by adverse weather at the tournament.

On Tuesday Mamelodi Sundowns game against Ulsan HD was suspended just before kick-off for just over an hour due to a weather alert.

Then on Wednesday RB Salzburg鈥 s match against Pachuca was suspended in the second half for 97 minutes because of a storm.

Palmeiras, led by talented youngster Estevao Willian, who is set to join Chelsea, played well but were held by Porto in their opening clash.

Al Ahly kept them at bay in a tight first half, in which English referee Anthony Taylor sent off Palmeiras midfielder Raphael Veiga for a foul on Ahmed Zizo, before overturning his decision following a VAR review.

Palestinian striker Abou Ali headed Anibal Moreno鈥檚 free-kick into his own net to hand Palmeiras the lead.

Lopez finished coolly for the Brazilians鈥 second after Mauricio played him through on goal.

After the suspension of around 45 minutes for the weather warning, Palmeiras played out the remainder of the match comfortably without risking their advantage.

South American sides have come into the tournament strongly, in good condition given they are in the middle of their domestic seasons, and have stayed unbeaten to this point.

The fine comes a year after City paid 2 million pounds ($2.56 million) to the league for breaching the same game-delay rules.

The club accepted and apologized for the rule breaches, and confirmed they have reminded their players and staff of their responsibilities in complying with the rules.

The longest game delays were two minutes 22 seconds each for restarts v West Ham and Ipswich.

City are awaiting the verdict of 115 unrelated charges of alleged breaches of the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules.

The charges cover a period starting from 2009 and continuing into the 2022-23 season. City have always denied any wrongdoing.
