Riyadh: The Kingdom of ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has condemned and strongly denounced the recent attacks on displacement camps near the city of El Fasher — specifically the Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps — in western Sudan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Sunday.

The attacks resulted in numerous deaths and injuries in a clear breach of international law and international humanitarian law, the ministry said.

ºÚÁÏÉçÇø reaffirmed its rejection of such violations and emphasized the urgent need to ensure the safety and protection of humanitarian and relief workers. The Kingdom also stressed the importance of adhering to the commitments outlined in the Jeddah Declaration, which aims to safeguard civilians in Sudan.

The ministry extended its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery for those injured.

RIYADH: Thousands of visitors and families gathered on Thursday for Indian Culture Week at Global Harmony 2, an event celebrating cultural exchange through art, performance, and entertainment, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Organized by the Ministry of Media in partnership with the General Entertainment Authority, the initiative forms part of the Quality of Life Program under Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to enhance community engagement and cultural diversity across the Kingdom.

The festivities opened with a performance by students from Dunes International School in Riyadh, followed by traditional Indian dance and music shows, a lively circus performance, and a colorful carnival parade that filled the park with festive energy.

A dedicated children’s stage offered games, interactive performances, and family-friendly activities, while visitors enjoyed a vibrant showcase of Indian heritage that underscored the strong cultural ties between India and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø.
