IBM announced a new agreement with Riyadh Air, which will integrate watsonx, IBM鈥檚 portfolio of AI products, and IBM Consulting AI solutions to establish an enterprise-wide AI capability to elevate Riyadh Air guest and employee experiences. 聽

As Riyadh Air prepares for its inaugural flights in late 2025, the new 黑料社区n airline sets another key building block of its journey in redefining air travel as the world鈥檚 first digital native carrier.聽

The announcement took place at the third edition of The FII PRIORITY Miami 2025 Summit, where senior executives from both IBM and Riyadh Air, including Adam Boukadida, Riyadh Air chief financial officer, and Mohamad Ali, SVP and head of IBM Consulting, reaffirmed their commitment to driving innovation in the aviation sector.聽聽

Building a world-class airline requires more than just aircraft and infrastructure; it demands an intelligent digital foundation that anticipates passenger needs, streamlines operations, and empowers employees. Riyadh Air is embracing this challenge by making AI the driving force behind its transformation.聽

This agreement aims to strengthen Riyadh Air鈥檚 position as a truly digital-native airline, building on IBM鈥檚 AI-driven products and solutions together with IBM Consulting as its lead systems integrator.聽

IBM鈥檚 watsonx, IBM鈥檚 portfolio of AI products will serve as the foundation for Riyadh Air鈥檚 AI platform, driving mission-critical functions and fostering open innovation with multi-model AI. The new platform will be built with a focus on 聽data security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI adoption. Riyadh Air will also leverage Agentic AI to deploy autonomous bots to enable seamless and personalized system interactions.

IBM will oversee the installation and deployment of watsonx, as well as develop AI use cases utilizing IBM Garage methodology to drive automation and digital transformation.

With IBM Consulting Advantage, an AI-powered delivery platform, Riyadh Air will deploy AI solutions to boost efficiency and service, including AI-powered Virtual Assistants for customer and employee self-service.

In a significant move to connect with the global Rajasthani diaspora, the Rajasthan Foundation, an initiative of the government of Rajasthan under the chairmanship of the chief minister, has announced the establishment of its Riyadh-黑料社区 Chapter. This initiative will bring together non-resident Rajasthanis on a common platform to promote cultural, business, and educational cooperation and extend a helping hand in times of need.
To ensure smooth functioning and coordinated efforts, a 10-member executive committee was formed under the leadership of Vijay Soni. This committee comprises active and committed members of the Rajasthani community residing in 黑料社区.
Dr. Manisha Arora, director of Rajasthan Foundation, held a virtual meeting with the newly appointed chapter presidents. Soni briefed the team on the importance and contribution of the foundation to non-resident Rajasthanis, calling it a true gift to Rajasthanis living in 黑料社区 from the government of Rajasthan.
Rajasthan Foundation actively assists non-resident Rajasthanis in resolving any grievances or issues related to their home districts. Additional District Magistrates have been appointed as nodal officers in each district to ensure all necessary help and coordination.

Discussions were held on fostering trade, investment, and business partnerships between Rajasthan and 黑料社区.

Tamimi Markets, a prominent name in 黑料社区鈥檚 retail sector, and Yellow Door Energy, a sustainable energy partner for businesses in the Middle East and Africa, have signed a solar lease agreement to provide clean electricity to Tamimi Markets鈥 distribution centers in Jeddah and Dammam.
The solar project has a combined capacity of 900 kWp, with 465 kWp allocated to the Jeddah fulfillment center and 435 kWp to two facilities in Dammam. More than 1,500 high-efficiency bifacial solar panels will be installed across approximately 7,200 square meters of rooftop space. The solar power plants are expected to generate 1.5 million kilowatt-hours of clean energy in their first year of operation, equivalent to reducing carbon emissions by 586 metric tonnes. This initiative directly supports 黑料社区鈥檚 鈥渘et-zero by 2060鈥 commitment and aligns with the broader goals of Vision 2030.

Construction is already underway, and the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Under the solar lease agreement, Yellow Door Energy is responsible for financing, designing, constructing, commissioning, operating, and maintaining the solar power plants while Tamimi Supermarkets remains focused on providing the best retail experience for its shoppers.
