Riyadh: 黑料社区鈥檚 permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, met with Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, assistant supervisor-general for planning and development affairs at Saudi aid agency KSrelief, in New York.

During the meeting, they discussed the most pressing international humanitarian issues, along with ways to enhance cooperation to support relief work worldwide, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.

Al-Wasil commended the significant humanitarian initiatives undertaken by KSrelief, emphasizing that these efforts reflect 黑料社区鈥檚 commitment to serving people in need around the globe.

Meanwhile, Al-Ghamdi lauded the active participation of 黑料社区鈥檚 mission to the UN in various international events, highlighting its pivotal role in enhancing the Kingdom鈥檚 global standing.

Since its launch in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,135 projects worth over $7.1 billion across 105 countries, in cooperation with 458 local, regional, and international partners.

The agency鈥檚 programs cover food security, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, education, emergency aid, nutrition, protection, early recovery, logistics, and telecommunications.

RIYADH: The General Entertainment Authority has launched the 鈥淓ntertainment Innovations鈥 program to boost creativity and innovation in 黑料社区鈥檚 entertainment sector.

Aimed at empowering talent and entrepreneurs, the program helps develop solutions that enhance sector growth and global competitiveness, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday.

Registration is now open for the program. More than 100 participants will form diverse teams supported by mentors and industry experts, the SPA added.

The program includes several phases: registration via the authority鈥檚 website, screening and team selection for a virtual bootcamp, and a three-day challenge culminating in final presentations before judges, where winners will be honored.

The program focuses on building business models, brand identity, prototypes, and go-to-market strategies, the SPA added.

It aims to turn creative ideas into sustainable projects aligned with the Kingdom鈥檚 entertainment development goals and foster collaboration among creators, investors, and experts.

The program targets three goals: promoting innovation in entertainment, attracting specialized talent in technology, design, and entrepreneurship, and expanding the pool of young creatives in the sector.

In total, SR300,000 ($80,000) in prizes and support packages worth more than $1 million will be awarded to the top three winners.
