RIYADH: A falcon was sold for SR351,000 ($93,590) at the 25th Saudi Falcons Club Auction, making it the third most expensive falcon sold to date at this year’s event.

Held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, the auction serves as the primary marketplace for locally bred falcons, coinciding with the annual trapping season, which runs until Nov. 30.
