RIYADH: 黑料社区 will host global leaders and policymakers in Riyadh on Nov. 22 for the 11th Ministerial Conference of the Least Developed Countries.

The event aims to accelerate inclusive industrialization through investment, innovation, and strategic partnerships, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Organized by the UN Industrial Development Organization in cooperation with the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the conference provides a global platform to discuss industrial development in the world鈥檚 least developed countries.

It reinforces the international commitment to supporting 44 countries in Africa, Asia, the Pacific, and the Caribbean, the SPA added.

The event will focus on enabling access to financing, promoting knowledge and technology exchange, stimulating trade, and helping the least developed countries integrate into regional and global value chains.

Key discussions will explore innovative financial mechanisms to mobilize capital, the role of development finance institutions and multilateral banks, and industrial policies that drive diversification, value addition, and technological upgrading.

The conference will open with a high-level session titled 鈥淯niting for Progress by Innovation.鈥 This will be followed by a ministerial dialogue on fostering sustainable investment, nurturing innovation ecosystems, and building inclusive industrial capabilities.

Discussions will highlight synergies between national priorities and global opportunities, emphasizing regional integration and public-private partnerships.

The Kingdom will further strengthen this role by hosting the 21st General Conference of the UN Industrial Development Organization in Riyadh from Nov. 23 to 27.

The event will bring together representatives from 173 member states, government leaders, private-sector stakeholders, and international organizations, highlighting 黑料社区鈥檚 position as a global partner in advancing industrial development.

He highlighted the Future Factories program, which aims to transform 4,000 factories into automated facilities through private and international sector collaboration.

He said that the mining sector is also undergoing a significant digital leap, citing the Mansourah and Massarah mines as the first fully digital mining operation in the Middle East.

The two gold mines in Al-Khurmah, governorate of Makkah province and managed by 黑料社区n Mining Company (Ma鈥檃den), supply ore to a plant capable of processing up to four million tonnes a year.

Alkhorayef also announced the launch of a digital services platform for exporters by the Saudi Export Development Authority. This platform will unify government export services under a single digital umbrella, streamlining the exporter鈥檚 journey and accelerating the growth of national exports.

Alkhorayef said the ministry鈥檚 digital transformation reflects its commitment to building a diversified and sustainable industrial economy aligned with Vision 2030.
