RIYADH: Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan met with a delegation from the Shoura Council鈥檚 Saudi-Armenian Parliamentary Friendship Committee, led by chairman Ali Al-Shahrani, during an official visit to Armenia recently, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
鈥淭he two sides reviewed Saudi-Armenian relations and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation across all areas,鈥� the SPA stated.
In September, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan met his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
They 鈥渄iscussed enhancing bilateral relations, regional and international developments, and ongoing efforts in these areas,鈥� according to the SPA. Following the meeting, the two ministries signed a memorandum of understanding on political consultations.
