RIYADH: The Saudi Data and AI Authority launched a series of scientific lectures on Tuesday, in partnership with King Saud University, on data and artificial intelligence technologies.

The lectures, delivered by experts and academics in advanced technologies, aim to raise awareness of data and AI, contribute to building a knowledge-based society, and enhance human capacity development in the Kingdom in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The series began with a lecture hosted at King Saud University in Riyadh, focusing on agent-based AI and its applications. The second lecture, scheduled for Oct. 14, will address the future of smart mobility and the role of AI in traffic engineering and intelligent vehicles.

The third, on Oct. 28, will explore AI and artistic creativity, followed by the fourth on Nov. 28, covering healthcare in the age of AI. The series will conclude on Dec. 2 with a lecture on smart education and the role of AI in the learning process.

These lectures reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to building human capabilities by developing knowledge-based skills in the latest global trends of data and AI technologies and applications.

The initiative aims to empower national talent, enhance their competitiveness, and elevate the Kingdom among the world’s leading data- and AI-driven economies.
