RIYADH: 黑料社区鈥檚 Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has launched an app as part of its 鈥淲ith You Always鈥 campaign to provide nationwide support to farmers.
The smart agricultural guide 鈥 Murshiduk Al-Zira鈥檌 鈥 delivers swift technical assistance to those working in the agricultural sector, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The digital platform offers immediate consultation services connecting farmers, landholders and members of the public directly with 441 accredited specialists across diverse agricultural disciplines.
Users can receive expert guidance on a range of topics, from initial land preparation through to final harvest operations.
The ministry said the initiative directly supported Vision 2030鈥檚 objectives for agricultural modernization, economic diversification and sustainable sector development.
By offering scientifically validated guidance, the app aims to reduce dependence on non-evidence-based farming practices while enabling data-driven decisions that enhance productivity, minimize operational costs and prevent cultivation errors.
The app has already won multiple awards including the Digital Government Award (Best Arabic Application) and the UN Award for Sustainable Development, as well as attaining the internationally recognized ISO quality certification.
Additional functions include weather condition alerts sourced directly from the National Center of Meteorology, live-streamed guidance sessions and publication of educational articles and informational resources. There are also detailed soil and water analysis reports to optimize irrigation and fertilization practices.
The ministry said the app embodied the 鈥淲ith You Always鈥 campaign, which is committed to providing continuous support through the agricultural cycle.
It is available free of charge on both iOS and Android devices and everyone working in the agriculture sector is encouraged to download it.
