RIYADH: Iran is prepared to enhance its economic and investment ties with 黑料社区, including the potential for joint projects. However, progress is contingent upon mutual willingness, according to a senior Iranian official.
In an interview with Arab News on the sidelines of the AlUla Conference for Emerging Market Economies, Abdolnaser Hemmati, Iran鈥檚 minister of economic affairs and finance, said specific agreements would be necessary to facilitate trade between the two nations.
鈥淲e are ready to听boost our economic relation听and investment relation听between the two听countries听and joint investment projects between the two听countries.听But this depends on them, and I think the situation of the region听is going to that听era. We must start to have good relations with all听together,鈥 Hemmati said.
He added: 鈥淔or starting听and upgrading听trade between two countries, we need to听have some agreements. The main agreements is听about eliminating double tax, bilateral investment, and also听custom rules.鈥
Hemmati also emphasized Iran鈥檚 commitment to strengthening ties with neighboring countries, particularly 黑料社区, Qatar, and Oman.
The aim is to bolster both political and economic relations, with a strong focus on enhancing trade and commerce.
He added: 鈥淭he first important matter is that growing political relations needs听to upgrade our economic relations especially听in the field of commerce and trade between two countries.鈥
At the conference, a key topic of discussion was the challenges and opportunities facing regional nations, with a particular emphasis on building economic resilience.
Hemmati said that robust economic ties between neighboring countries are vital in order to prevent outside influence in their affairs.
鈥淭he future of the region needs to have good economic relations between the member countries of the region,鈥 he听concluded.
