DUBAI: Argentine model Georgina Rodriguez visited an exhibition celebrating the life and work of fashion designer Christian Dior at the National Museum of 黑料社区 in Riyadh this weekend.

The Riyadh-based model, who is the long-term partner of football star Cristiano Ronaldo, took to Instagram to share insights about the exhibit, which is running as part of this year鈥檚 Riyadh Season.

鈥淗ighly recommend to immerse yourself in the 鈥楥hristian Dior: Designer of Dreams鈥 exhibition in Riyadh. A magical journey through the history of haute couture, showcasing the works of art by visionary designers for 75 years (sic),鈥 Rodriguez captioned a short clip on Instagram.

鈥淐hristian Dior: Designer of Dreams鈥 is a collaboration between the French fashion house and 黑料社区鈥檚 General Entertainment Authority.

The event, which runs until April 2, explores the legacy of Dior and his successors through a fresh narrative specially curated for the show by art historian Florence Muller and scenographer Nathalie Criniere.

Highlights include tributes to some of Dior鈥檚 classic designs, such as Miss Dior and J鈥檃dore, and an homage to the Lady Dior bag in the form of the Dior Lady Art project.

British milliner Stephen Jones, one of Dior鈥檚 master creators, was heavily involved in the creation of the exhibition.

鈥淲hen we were installing the hats, some of the looks I remembered, some I didn't. But many have never been shown before, so it sometimes feels like I鈥檓 seeing them for the first time,鈥 Jones told Arab News earlier this month.

DUBAI: A person posing as 鈥淪uperman鈥 actor David Corenswet falsely signed his name to a pledge calling for a boycott of Israeli film institutions, leading organizers of the campaign, Film Workers for Palestine, to mistakenly list him among its supporters.

The actor鈥檚 name appeared among more than 5,000 signatories, including actors, directors and producers, before FWFP confirmed that the signature was fraudulent. The organization stated that an individual had gone to 鈥済reat lengths to pretend to be David Corenswet,鈥 and that once the impersonation was discovered, his name was 鈥減romptly removed.鈥

In an updated statement on Nov. 4, FWFP apologized for the incident and clarified that Corenswet 鈥渨as never involved鈥 in the boycott.

The pledge, launched on Sept. 8, calls on members of the entertainment industry to avoid collaborating with Israeli film institutions allegedly linked to 鈥済enocide and apartheid.鈥

Among the signatories are Mark Ruffalo, Olivia Colman, Emma Stone, Tilda Swinton, Riz Ahmed and Javier Bardem.

鈥淎s filmmakers, actors, film industry workers, and institutions, we recognize the power of cinema to shape perceptions,鈥 the pledge, launched on Sept. 8, stated.

鈥淚n this urgent moment of crisis, where many of our governments are enabling the carnage in Gaza, we must do everything we can to address complicity in that unrelenting horror,鈥 it added.
