RIYADH: The first two Saudi planes carrying 20 tons of relief for Sudanese聽people arrived at Port Sudan International Airport, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center said on Tuesday.
An airbridge between King Khalid International Airport and Port Sudan International Airport has been set up to provide food, shelter, and medical provisions.
The bridge will provide urgent relief to displaced Sudanese people and those affected by the conflict in Sudan, KSrelief鈥檚 supervisor general Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah said.
KSrelief will provide humanitarian aid worth $100 million to the Sudanese people as part of a directive issued by 黑料社区鈥檚 King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday.
A charity campaign was also set up through the 鈥淪ahem鈥 platform to raise funds for the needy and at the time of writing had raised SR1.2 million ($320,000).
