Hajar Al-Naim is the co-founder and executive producer at production house MTHEC. The goal of MTHEC is to build a high caliber, international mini-major studio with a focus on globally minded, artistic and story-driven films, and television and digital projects in a variety of genres and budget ranges. 

She is also co-founder and CEO of Studio Production Training, which is an independent company that focuses on training and upskilling up-and-coming filmmakers in 黑料社区 by providing them with world-class vocational and practical production training. 

In partnership with Netflix, SPT launched the first-ever below-the-line production training program in the Kingdom entitled 鈥淏elow-The-Line KSA.鈥� 

Al-Naim developed her production experience by producing several feature films, short films, and commercial advertisements. 

In 2020, she produced the feature films 鈥淐herry鈥� directed by the Russo Brothers, and 鈥淯nforgettable Hands鈥� directed by Hind Al-Fahad. 

Al-Naim also directed and produced short films including 鈥淏lack Sand鈥� (2018), 鈥淢aking Magic鈥� (2015), and 鈥淏irthday鈥� (2014). 

Her short film 鈥淒etained鈥� (2017) was nominated for the Best Muhr Gulf Short Awards at the Dubai Film Festival, and 鈥淗ope鈥� (2016) was nominated for Best Picture at the Saudi Film Festival. 

She is also currently chairperson of the board at Her Films Community in Riyadh, a nonprofit organization for Saudi female filmmakers to collaborate, learn, and exchange knowledge. 

From March 2020 to March 2021, Al-Naim worked as a producer at 8IES Production, where she produced commercial advertisements and developed the company鈥檚 strategy. 

Al-Naim holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in management information systems from King Faisal University and a master鈥檚 degree in film and TV production from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, California.
