No more walls

There are two people inside of us. One wants to be far away from everything and push everyone away whenever getting distracted mentally. The other wants to explore and discover the world around them, love, and be loved. I sometimes wish to know what the norm is so I can provide entertainment. Anyway, do not worry, I am thinking of you both.
Starting to think of this condition, I suspect it is related to humankind’s psychology in which humans desire to live according to the needs of their mind, heart, and soul.
I think it’s all about learning the art of distancing, and listening to the inner voice all the time is the key. We have to advocate for ourselves the connect-and-disconnect mood that we go through and let others know that switching inside our heads is not a shameful subject.
I wonder what might happen if we all realized that this way could save a lot of time and effort and help keep relationships healthier. No further explanations or questions, just drop the fact that you are currently “disconnected,” especially when it comes to friendships and close ones.

We all need one another, even if we are two within. Someone takes care, understands, and loves us. Someone will break all the walls we do when we are in a dark mood and refuse to see faces.

The sad part is that most of our relations are poor in expressing our needs or emotions. I hate to blame the culture always because the people of the pre-Islamic era had eloquence and fluency about their feelings, and we are an extension of them in respect of fluency. Still, we do not understand why the majority do not have the power to express their spoken or written emotions.
Ironically, I am trying to resonate the distances and feelings to a near degree. We will come close if that happens. I know this seems complicated but we must confess to the bad quality of relations we encounter due to the ignorance of these invisible details that make so much sense.
I would never claim that this is a worldwide issue, but I do declare I am not alone in struggling to adjust to these two essential elements (distance-emotion). I will continue to share my delusions about it privately and publicly, hoping to find something that comforts me.
We all need one another, even if we are two within. Someone takes care, understands, and loves us. Someone will break all the walls we do when we are in a dark mood and refuse to see faces. Someone is always there for us, a great comfort I felt only by imagining it! Because I want it, imagined it, felt it, and have it be true, maybe this is my way to break the walls: “No More Walls.”
