DUBAI: The Arab Coalition announced on Saturday the successful interception and destruction of a drone launched by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.

In a statement, the coalition confirmed the Houthi militia鈥檚 escalating attempts to target the Kingdom and its civilians in the last week.

The rebels鈥� attempt to launch an attack on Khamis Mushait on Saturday is the third since Wednesday, drawing international condemnation.
