ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al Al-Maliki called on General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Pakistani army chief, and Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, on Tuesday and discussed enhancing ties.
鈥淚 had the pleasure of visiting and meeting the Chief of Staff #丕賱噩賷卮_丕賱亘丕賰爻鬲丕賳賷 Lt. General Qamar Javed Bajwa at his headquarters today,鈥� Al Al-Maliki said in a tweet. 鈥淒iscussed regional and international files and ways to enhance cooperation between the two brotherly countries in areas of common interest.鈥�

鈥淒uring the meeting matters of mutual interest, regional security situation and bilateral defense relations between the two brotherly countries were discussed,鈥� a statement from the Pakistani military said. 鈥淭he ambassador reaffirmed KSA鈥檚 [Kingdom of 黑料社区鈥檚] full support to Pakistan鈥檚 position on all matters, especially on regional issues.鈥�
In a separate meeting with the interior minister, 鈥渃ordial conversations were exchanged and issues of common interest between the two brotherly countries were discussed and ways to enhance them,鈥� the Saudi ambassador said in a Twitter post.
