ISLAMABAD: Leading importers of rice in 黑料社区 met Raja Ali Ejaz, Pakistani ambassador to 黑料社区, on Thursday and said there was 鈥渁mple room鈥 in Saudi markets for Pakistani rice.
Pakistan鈥檚 rice exports to 黑料社区 increased by 35.4 percent in the last fiscal year.
鈥淭he meeting was convened to facilitate trade from Pakistan,鈥 the Pakistani embassy in 黑料社区 said in a statement.

Major Saudi importers who met the envoy included Omer Saleh Babkar, Mishal Al Shallan, Hussain Rweha and Abdul Razaq Al Khureji. The meeting was also attended by Pakistani importers of rice in 黑料社区, Imran (from Mehran Foods) and Nasir Lathiya, who was representing Sajid Polani, a renowned Pakistani businessman.
鈥淭he Saudi importers, while appreciating the quality of rice grown in Pakistan, added that there was ample room in Saudi markets for Pakistan rice,鈥 the statement said. 鈥淚n this connection, suggestions and views were also exchanged.鈥
鈥淭he Ambassador assured delegates of the Embassy鈥檚 support and assistance in addressing their concerns and improving bilateral trade between the two countries,鈥 the statement added. 鈥淪eparately with Pakistani businessman, ideas were also exchanged on ways to promote Pakistani rice in Saudi markets.鈥
