The UK Embassy in 黑料社区 stepped up the repatriation process by announcing more flights to London for British nationals and residents.
An embassy statement shared details and flight updates: 鈥淪audia is now operating the flights: Jeddah-London on June 24 and Jeddah-London on June 28. To book tickets, please visit the Saudia website , remembering to select 鈥榦ne-way鈥.鈥
It said that many British nationals and residents wanted to return to the UK in the coming weeks and that the embassy expected 鈥渇urther flights鈥 from Riyadh to London before the end of June. 鈥淲e will share details when flights are confirmed. Tickets will be available from ,鈥 it added.
The diplomatic mission clarified that it would no longer be providing transport to the airport or permission letters as domestic travel restrictions in the Kingdom had been lifted. If people needed to travel during curfew they were to show their boarding pass or booking confirmation at checkpoints. Iqama holders could also request permission via the Tawakkalna app, though this step was not essential.
