Cancer awareness mural launched in ��’s Eastern Province

Around 15 artists participated with educational artworks about cancer over the course of five days, with the participation of patients, officials and social figures

DAMMAM: The Eastern Province Municipality, in partnership with the Saudi Cancer Society, launched an awareness mural to support cancer patients on Saturday at Alkhobar waterfront, coinciding with the International Day for Child Cancer.
Launched under the patronage of Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the community initiative aims to raise awareness about cancer through art under the slogan “With Art We Fight Cancer.”
Around 15 artists participated with educational artworks about cancer over the course of five days, with the participation of patients, officials and social figures.
Ziyad Mugharbel, deputy mayor at the municipality, said the initiative aims to support cancer patients and educate individuals about the disease and the importance of early detection.
