ºÚÁÏÉçÇø pledges to fight against doping in sport

RIYADH: ºÚÁÏÉçÇø has pledged its support for the global fight against doping in sport.
Speaking in France at an international conference on the issue, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Musaed, adviser to the chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and member of the board of directors of the ºÚÁÏÉçÇøn Olympic Committee (SOC), stressed the Kingdom’s backing for efforts to create an environment for fair competition among athletes around the world.
The prince said the Kingdom had provided more than $400,000 (SR1.5 million) toward the International Convention against Doping in Sport initiative, which aims to ban the use of performance-enhancing drugs by competitive athletes.
