LONDON: 黑料社区鈥檚 Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Yemeni聽President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi contributed to reaching agreements in Yemen and helped achieve the cease-fire in Hodeidah, UN Secretary-General聽Antonio Gutteres said.
UN聽deputy spokesman Farhan Haq told reporters at the organization鈥檚聽headquarters in New York on Thursday that Guterres felt the crown prince鈥檚 contribution had been聽鈥渧ery important to the outcome of the consultations鈥澛燼nd that Hadi 鈥減layed a positive role.鈥
The secretary-general thanked聽those inside and outside the region that tried to encourage the parties to make progress at the talks in Sweden and believes this was 鈥渧aluable鈥 in reaching Thursday鈥檚 agreement, Haq said.
Hodeidah is a key port in Yemen for those trying to import desperately needed food and supplies into the country.
